My Dog Is in PAIN and I cant Help him =( Whats the best option?
Hi guys,
On Sunday I brought my dog (Boston Terrier) to the er vet bc his eye was all red and he couldn't open it. It turned out he has a Cornell ulcer. I followed up as directed 2 days later and brought him to my vet. My vet informed me (very rudely) that his eye shouldn't be that red still and the best thing to do is to see an optomoligist. I just called and they told me it costs $255 just for the consultation, not including whatever tests and treatment they do. Im super upset, I started crying bc not only is he in pain and I cant help him, but c I really don't have money for all this at all! Can anyone who has had experience with there dog tell me how long it took to heal and if their eye was red still 4 days after? Since I cant afford the specialist, Im bringing him back to my vet in two more days. I have him wearing the cone. He is on a pain relieving creme and a triple antibiotic.ANY insight is truly appreciated. Thanks.
